Never Give Up Day
The county of Kaua’i is proclaiming August 18th “Never Give Up Day” as a celebration focused on cultivating a mindset of determination and highlights the unbelievable power of individuals who simply refuse to give in to life's challenges.
Never Give Up Day provides a common platform that inspires individuals and professionals to organize virtual and physical events to take place on a local or national scale. The Mayoral proclamation signals the city's role in recognizing the importance of perseverance and encourages awareness-raising activities.
On Never Give Up Day we praise those who have won and achieved great things, and we admire those who struggle and know no despair.
It’s important for us not to give up on our endeavors even when there doesn’t seem to be any success. At KOA, we believe in bringing awareness to the programs and organizations on the island surrounding the ocean and sustainability. We choose to never give up on educating and bringing awareness to the beautiful ocean that surrounds our home.
We are dreaming up opportunities to bring more awareness to our ocean, the setting in the story of our lives here on island. Stay tuned on how we engage with this day!
